You took something Something that was mine Something that I can’t get back You took all of my time Now you’re coming round again Looking for more I don’t think I have to give What you’re looking for And I, will be missing her And I, wish it didn’t hurt Every now and then We’re faced with tough choices A million different paths to take A million different voices But one is screaming loud and clear High above the rest But who’s to say the voice so loud Also knows best And I, will be missing her And I, wish it didn’t hurt And I, won’t set it aside Cause you, make me feel alive And I, I need to know How far you think, you think this could go Cause I’m, willing to try Until the day, you say goodbye And I, will be missing her And I, wish it didn’t hurt And I, won’t set it aside Cause you, make me feel alive And I, will be missing her And I, wish it didn’t hurt And you, don’t set me aside Cause you, make me feel alive

Every time you think of me you cry Every time I think of you I don't know why It's not that, I treated you so wrong Maybe it's, that I let it go on to long But if you stay, well that's okay, don't you see And if you leave, well that's fine with me But if you go, I want you know I won't ask you, to stay Think on back to what it was I first said Are those words rumbling 'round your head? I told you that, I told you that I'm not In this for the long run or so I thought And if you stay, well that's okay, don't you see And if you leave, well that's fine with me But if you go, I want you know I won't ask you, to stay And I, I need some time To figure out, what is on my mind And if you stay, well that's okay, don't you see And if you leave, well that's fine with me But if you go, I want you know I won't ask you, to stay

It didn't start off at all the same I couldn't even remember your name But who was to blame But I got it on the second try I took my time, and that's no lie I did To see that sparkle in your eyes But I've been here too long To know that this feels wrong Oh, oh dear my At least I tried You said, "baby take my hand" I told you I didn't quite understand why So you started to cry I picked your head up by your chin Said baby this just where you begin to show me Show me you'll try Cause I've been here too long To know that this feels wrong Oh, oh dear my, at least I tried Oh, oh dear my, at least I tried And the story that I speak is true Don't worry one day when it happens to you too You'll know what, what to do When you've been there too long You'll know that it feels wrong Oh, oh dear my, at least we tried Oh, oh dear my, at least I tried

If everything you touched could turn to gold Maybe your skin wouldn't be so cold I don't know where you get off acting like that But you know, it ain't worth it, it ain’t cool Writing another love song, bout a broken heart So I don't know bout you but I'm about to change it up in a second or two Cause I know now, what I knew then There's no way I’m going back again I think it's time, to let it end Let it end You know I'm just messin' around, I am up, not down But sometimes I don't know what to think Sometimes I wish I was back and I don't know how to act Shit takes me to the brink But you know, I don't mind, no I really, I don't mind Cause I'm doing fine After all, this is great this is something to celebrate I have finally freed my mind Cause I know now, what I knew then There's no way I’m going back again I think it's time, to let it end Cause I knew then, what I know now And I don’t know how, I could go back again I think it’s time Cause I know now, what I knew then There's no way I’d ever go back again I think it's time, really Oh you know it’s time Maybe one last time Just let it end Let it end Let it end Let it end

about

This is the first EP from Raised by Tigers, entitled Let It End. They wrote and recorded this pre quarantine, but the themes are oddly more relevant today.

Let It End, the EP, is the result of a young man in his 20's, making his way in New York City. It's a love story based on learning experiences from dating in the city and similar to a relationship, it has highs and lows. It begins with heartache, nearing the end of a meaningful relationship. Sadness turns into acceptance and growth, realizing that it's okay to take risks and try new things, even if it leads to getting hurt. You can use past experiences to help make better decisions about future situations, especially when it comes to setting boundaries and knowing when to walk away. The EP finishes strong with the title track "Let It End", a tale of using the wisdom gained through suffering to decide when enough is enough.

Born out of a shared love of open mics and craft beer, two bearded musicians chose to transform into tiger cubs for life. These men (Andrew P & JFiddle), backed by sweet harmonies of their rhythm section (Jeremy and Joel) tell their story through song. Now they roam the streets of New York, looking for shows and places to share their music. ... more
